You apply through the form. We review every application and reach out to schedule a conversation. If it is a good fit, you are invited to try a meeting before being welcomed in. There is no fee to apply.
Yes. It is a curated community, not an open directory. We review who joins so members can refer and collaborate in confidence. Not every application is accepted, and that is what keeps the room trustworthy.
Publishing Tea is a 12-month membership. You can pay annually ($500, billed once) or on a monthly payment plan ($50 a month across the year). There is no fee to apply.
Monthly facilitated gatherings, a listing in the Author Resource Directory, live event speaking opportunities, a vetted peer network, referral and collaboration opportunities, a private discussion group, and a shared calendar for co-promoting events.
Once a month on Zoom, on the third Tuesday at 2pm Eastern, for a facilitated conversation on the topics shaping our work.
A simple code of ethics: serve authors with integrity, deliver or overdeliver on what you promise, build real relationships rather than transactions, share ideas and referrals when they fit, and help elevate the publishing space.
Membership is a full 12-month commitment, and the monthly option is a payment plan for the year, not a month-to-month subscription. We ask for the year because onboarding is real work and we invest in the relationship from day one; the commitment runs both ways. Before joining, you talk with Tina and are invited to try a meeting, so you know the room before you say yes. There is no early cancellation or refund, though if you face financial hardship, reach out to Tina and she will do her best to work with you.
